This is a list of New England stations done somewhere between 1939 and 1941. It shows the old frequencies before the change in March, 1941. Note WBZ on 990 instead of 1030 as it is today. This list was found in an old transmitter manual at the WJAR transmitter site. The FCC AM database is a good resource to find full information on US, Canadian, and most western hemisphere AM stations. The 100000watts.com site is the best AM station reference available. It is a pay site, but is well worth the money when compared to other pay listings. Everything you need in one place. Ever curious on just how many of those three-letter callsigns are in use? Here's a list of the ones in the US, Canada and Mexico. Here's a list of Radio Disney stations by city state call and frequency. |
